Sanjay Kulkarni is the Managing Director and one of the founding members of the Stern Stewart India operations. He has extensive advisory experience on issues of strategy, shareholder value management, driving performance improvement, change management, valuation, institutionalizing management processes including strategic planning, performance measurement, reporting and executive compensation. He has lead several large consulting assignments in diverse industries like IT services, FMCG, Logistics, Metals, Pulp and paper, Real estate, Chemicals, Agro-products, Apparels etc. He is regular speaker at CEO forums and business forums in India and S-E Asia and contributes regularly to business magazines and newspapers on economics, business management issues. He has led research assignments and authored/co-authored publications in leading business magazines and international journals. He has keen interests in adventure sports – is an avid trekker and trained in mountaineering and rock-climbing. His hobbies include photography, reading/writing poetry and short stories – he is a recipient of a National award in short story Literature.
